In the distance you can see the flashes, you can't find any of your family. One of the soldiers yells for you to get in the fallout shelter. Safety at the end of an almost endless hall of dark stairs, you hesitate. The wind in blowing towards the explosions, it's cold bitting into your back. The war was not going to escalate the news had said, but they were wrong and now every one was going to die.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
